Read "Sierra Oscar Sierra" and answer the following question.

Choose one example of dialogue from the story. Explain what this example shows about the characters in the story. Use details from the story in your explanation. Write your answer in your answer book.

I can't copy that fast. Slowdown and tell me your location," and explains that this shows how Eric is "calm and collected when problems occur." The student effectively uses text-relevant information to explain Eric's character in a stressful situation, "he thought of a plan and devised it. This was clever."

Note 1:

Text-relevant: This information may or may not be an exact copy (quote) of the text but is clearly related to the text and often shows an analysis and/or interpretation of important ideas. Students may incorporate information to show connections to relevant prior experience as appropriate.

Note 2:
