- 2. Apply comprehension and literary analysis strategies and skills for a variety of listening purposes and settings
Objectives
- Ask relevant questions concerning the speaker's content, delivery, and purpose
- Determine a speaker's purpose and viewpoint
- Interpret the speech or performance or presentation
- Make inferences or draw conclusions based on the presentation
- Provide constructive feedback to speakers concerning the coherence and logic of a speech's content and delivery as well as its overall impact upon the listeners
