Plan and create a data presentation

Planning a data presentation requires you to think through the following questions.

What is your purpose?
What are the key points you are trying to make?
Who is the audience?
When will you present this information?
How much time will you have to present?
How much time will you allow for questions?

Once you have identified your key points, the visuals you need will be more apparent. For example, one of your key points might be that your school met AYP in all areas. You might show the three AYP graphs that present that information. You may want to learn how to "Cut and Paste" the graphs in this section onto a customized presentation slide or transparency.
